It is the policy of Allpipe Engineering Ltd to ensure that the responsibilities for health, safety and welfare are properly assigned, accepted and fulfilled at all levels throughout the organization (reference to section 3 E.H.S Manual).
It is also policy to ensure that all practicable steps are taken to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of all employees, contractors, visitors to the premises and members of the public or operations under the organization’s control. Allpipe Engineering Ltd also accepts responsibility for any effects our activities may have on the environment.
Our aim and objective is a commitment to continual improvement of our safety performance. We are also committed to complying with all relevant legal requirements. This Health And Safety Policy statement will be reviewed at least annually and amended as necessary, it will also be made available to all new employees initially at the induction stage of their employment and to all existing employees at regular safety communication meetings.
It is the intent of Allpipe Engineering Limited to provide the safest and healthiest working conditions possible for all our employees by: -
- Making the workplace safe and without risks to health
- Ensuring that plant and machinery are safe and safe systems of work are followed
- Ensuring articles and substances are moved, stored and used safely
- Providing adequate welfare facilities
- Providing relevant information, instruction, training and supervision
All employees have a statutory duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work, and to co-operate with their employer in compliance with all relevant legislation.
To help achieve this objective it is the intent of Allpipe Engineering Limited to enlist the support of all employees towards achieving the safest possible working conditions through consultation, (e.g. weekly safety meetings, and suggestions for improvements).
The allocation of duties for safety matters and the particular health and safety arrangements are fully documented in the E.H.S manual.
The Environmental Health and Safety Manual containing safe work procedures will be reviewed and revised accordingly depending on changing legislation, changes in work procedures or findings from safety inspections, or management system audits.
